The Tigers first foray into national championship basketball in 13 years is underway, and nerves are showing after the first half. Despite leading early on the Tigers trail by 17 at the half, 38-21.
The Tiger shooters that stole the show at AUS Final 6 last week started the game cold, Dal is 9 for 28 from the field, and 2 for 7 from 3 point range. The lone bright spot is Josh Beattie who has 8 points on 4 for 8 shooting.
The Tigers have made use of their bench early on with 8 players seeing the floor and all have at least 6 minutes of playing time.
